Kids in the kitchen - Christmas Edition
We believe that a love and passion for cooking begins at a young age and should be nurtured in order for that love and passion to grow and continue into adulthood.
Kitchen Door Catering believes that a love and passion for cooking begins at a young age and should be nurtured in order for that love and passion to grow and continue into adulthood. It is with this in mind, and with great pride that we have designed our very first Kids In The Kitchen Cooking Classes.
For the first two Sundays in December we are letting the kids take over the kitchen. The First Sunday (December 3rd) will be all about Christmas Baking. The second Sunday (December 10th) is all about Christmas Dinner.
Our Christmas Baking Class will teach your kids some christmas baking classics as well as listening skills, leadership skills, and how to work as a group. Our professional kitchen team will guide the kids through every step of the process while giving them the space to learn for themselves. Lunch of soup, salad, and a sandwich will be served, and at the end of the class the kids will get to enjoy all their wonderful Christmas Baking.
Our Christmas Dinner Class is designed in a way to teach the kids to work in small teams to benefit a larger group goal. They will work in their smaller teams to create their dishes as well as pieces of other dishes while coordinating with the other teams to make sure all the food is ready at the same time. Once the cooking is done the kids will present and serve their dishes to the rest of the class. They will also be responsible for helping to clear the tables and clean the kitchen.
Individual class = $85
Both Classes = $150
