Pad Thai 101 – Virtual Cooking Class

In this class, you will start by practicing your knife skills, finely chopping ingredients to make delicious Fresh Rolls and a Ginger Dipping Sauce. Next up, a light and vibrant Pad Thai is on the menu. Timing is everything with this stir-fry dish, and our chef will show you how to juggle all your prep work and make a Pad Thai that can be ready in 15 minutes. This Pad Thai is the perfect addition to your stir-fry repertoire, with its quick cook time and mouth-watering aroma sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Join Chef Andrew, and learn how to make an incredible meal at home using locally sourced grass-fed beef, produce, and other product offerings from across the province.

This market-fresh class changes seasonally and includes a salad or appetizer and entree course. A great resource for discovering the array and bounty that Nova Scotia has to offer!

Shepherd’s Pie – Kids Cook Virtual Cooking Class

Are you looking for fun and exciting ways to get your Junior Chef more involved in the kitchen? Or, maybe they are already expressing interest and are looking for ways to level up their skill set. Either way, our Kids Cook Supper Club has you covered! During these classes, your Junior Chef will explore new flavours, learn the basics of food preparation, and increase their confidence in technical skills that can be used for years to come. Our goal is to leave them excited to help in the kitchen at home and have fun experimenting with some of their favourite dishes – while making dinner for the whole family!

On the menu:

In this class, your Junior Chef will be learning how to make a beautiful Shepherd’s Pie from scratch. We’ll make buttery mashed potatoes to top off a delicious filling of ground beef, gravy, and veg. A great intro to casserole cooking!

Gnocchi is a variety of pasta consisting of various thick, small, and soft dough dumplings made primarily from potatoes. Whether you opt for Marinara sauce or bake these Classica Italian pillows with meat and cheese, Gnocchi is a versatile and easy meal idea!
In this virtual class, we will show you how to make your own Potato Gnocchi with ease, and then dress them up with a simple Browned Butter, Sage & Lemon Sauce.
