Virtual Class FAQ

What hosting program do you use for classes?

We use Zoom as our hosting site for classes. Zoom gives us the flexibility to have multiple camera angles and interact and see how the class is doing.

When and how will we receive the Zoom link for their class?

Zoom links are emailed out on the day of your class, typically within the afternoon (sent to the email used during checkout – or indicated in the note section if it is a gift).

When will I receive my shopping & equipment list for the class?

If you have purchased a “You Shop” ticket, their ingredient lists will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours, depending on when the class ticket is purchased (please note our office hours are Monday – Friday 9 am – 4 pm and Saturdays 9 – 1 pm). You should have no problem finding your necessary ingredients in a typical grocery store – but have fun exploring your local neighbourhood Asian grocery stores as well! Your equipment list will consist of standard items – knife, cutting board, bowls, pots, pans, grater etc. Nothing crazy, or we would let you know in the class description!

How long is a class typically?

Classes are approximately an hour and a half long depending on recipes and interactions/conversation during the class.

How do tickets work?

Each adult cooking class ticket is meant for two people if cooking in the same kitchen. You and your partner, friend etc. can log on together from the same kitchen and cook along with our chef for the price of one ticket. Your ingredient kit or shopping list will be portioned for two people as well.
