Kitchen Door Food Co is a scratch food company located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with a fantastic team who creates delicious food for a whole host of events. Founded in 2008 by chef/owner Patty Howard in Bedford, Nova Scotia, the company quickly grew and diversified its offerings. Currently the company provides high quality drop-off catering throughout HRM as well as fresh and frozen prepared foods for sale online and instore. From its food shop, the company also offers a variety of fresh hot and cold lunch offerings. In the fall of 2022, Kitchen Door will become your go-to stop for curated gift boxes - whether you are looking for the perfect gift for a friend or a large corporate gift for all your clients, Kitchen Door Food & Gifts has you covered with a curated list of Canadian owned brands. Kitchen Door excels are large volume catering for special events and was the caterer for Canoe '22 in Dartmouth, NS in the summer of 2022 feeding over 1500 athletes, volunteers and officials for nine days at this International Elite Sporting Event. In 2017, Kitchen Door also catered for the Canadian Scouts Jamboree in Middle Musquidoboit feeding more than 1500 staff/volunteers for the 2 week jamboree. The team at Kitchen Door is highly experienced in the logistics and menu development for larger scale events and can facilitate across Atlantic Canada.

Well, to be frank, everything! Our culinary team is always busy in the kitchen restocking our in-store food shop or creating delicious weekly fresh meals as part of our subscription program. Are you looking for easy, fresh, healthy meals for you and your family? Our weekly fresh meals can be pre-ordered and delivered to your home (or office) - just like the big meal prep programs only all our meals just need heating (no chopping or sautéing required) and the BEST part is you are supporting a local food company!
